Humble ISD has 52 students sign on spring signing day

Humble ISD had 52 student-athletes make their commitment to play college athletics official on May 1 at the Humble Civic Center.

Humble ISD had 13 baseball players sign letters of intent.

Atascocita’s Clay Bradford signed to play at Temple Junior College, McCrae Kendrick signed to play Angelina Junior College, Zachry Schneider signed to play at Truman State University, Hudson Luce signed to play at San Jacinto College and Steven Cortina will play at Alvin Community College.

Kingwood Park’s Matthew Burke signed to play at Flagler College while Brandon Madden signed to play with the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, Parker Roberts Centenary College of Louisiana, and Clay Sowell signed to play at Tufts University.

Summer Creek’s Daniel Garza and Matthew Young signed to play at Schreiner University while Dylan Smith signed to play at St. Edwards University.

Kingwood’s Trey Dees signed to play at Southwestern University.

Eight student’s athletes signed to compete in track and field at the collegiate level.

Summer Creek’s Mason Schrade signed to the University of Houston, Amiya Matthews signed to Nicholls State University, Jaylon Jacobs signed to Northwestern State University and Ashton Frey signed with Southwestern University.

Atascocita’s Mari Robinson signed to run at University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Humble’s Jaden Johnson signed to Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

Six basketball players and a student assistant made their commitment officials.

Atascocita’s Daizah Garner signed to be a basketball student assistant and Shaniya Klauser signed to play basketball at Jacksonville College.

Humble’s Chyndall Daniels signed to play at Schreiner College, Melanie Wenkebach singed to play at Rust College, and Maribel Gomez signed to play at Esslesia College.

Summer Creek’s Dylan Phillip signed to play at Oklahoma Wesleyan University while Teagan Brouwer will play at Cowley College at the collegiate level.

Humble had three football players sign to pursue a collegiate career in Isaiah Robinson (Navarro Jr. College), Jarrell Wheeler (Bethany College) and Glenn White (Louisiana College).

Atascoita’s Kenneth Bray signed to play at Texas Lutheran University, Holden Stubbs signed to play at Illinois College and Carrington Wooden signed to play at Millsaps College.

Kingwood’s Michael Van Uden signed to play at Millsaps College and Kingwood Park’s Hunter Watkins signed to play at Austin College.

Kingwood’s Leah Sanders (Southern Arkansas University) and McKenzie Clark (Texas Tech University) signed to run cross country and track at the collegiate level.

Summer Creek’s Avery Martinez signed to run cross country at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Humble ISD had five soccer players sign to continue their education and athletic careers.

Kingwood’s Andrew Kovacik (Mary Hardin-Baylor), Arron Pontiff (Blinn Junior College) and Noah Siega (Paris Junior College) signed with their respective schools.

Summer Creek’s Omar Avila signed with Marymount University and Luis Civallero signed to play at Hendrix College.

Atascocita’s Jacob Witkowski signed with Dallas Baptist University for bass fishing while Olivia Schoch will cheer at the University of Texas.

Kingwood Park’s Emma Frey signed to swim at Southwestern University while Summer Creek’s Magdelene Gullion signed to swim at Hendrix College.

Kingwood Park’s Claire Slaughter signed to play tennis in the SEC at Arkansas.

Atascocita’s Maddie VanDyke signed to play volleyball at New Mexico Junior College and Kingwood Park’s Connor Wood signed to wrestle at Schreiner University. AHS Volleyball New Mexico Junior College.
