Aiken woman charged in child neglect case
An Aiken woman was charged Thursday in connection to a child neglect investigation from 2018.
Robin Lynn Medlin, 35, of George Street, is charged with two counts of unlawful neglect of a child and trespassing, according to jail records.
On Oct. 24, 2018, officers with the Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to a George Street residence around noon in reference to reports of child abuse and neglect, according to the report.
The report does not go into any further detail about the case, other than police started an investigation.
Following the investigation, Medlin was arrested Thursday and taken to the Aiken County detention center, where she was still being held Friday morning.
