Kitchen United Strengthens Business Development, Sales and Human Resources Teams

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 13, 2019--Kitchen United, the GV-backed start-up creating a new way for restaurant brands to expand via off-premise optimized kitchen centers, today announced the addition of three senior leaders to the business development, sales and human resources teams to support the Company’s national rollout and expansion plans. As Kitchen United proceeds with its plans to open 15 kitchen centers by the end of 2019, the Company is pleased to welcome the following new team members who will help support Kitchen United’s development:

  • Jen Henriksen has been named Vice President, Business Development where she will forge strategic partnerships that drive growth across sales, site expansion and innovative new lines of business. Ms. Henriksen brings more than 15 years in sales leadership and partner development in high-growth, complex and highly regulated organizations, driving revenue strategies and product innovation while streamlining sales and marketing operations for companies like Vanguard Logistics Services, Pictage Inc., and LiveOffice/Symantec. Prior to joining Kitchen United, Ms. Henriksen applied her expertise as a consultant to companies across a variety of industries, including technology, consumer packaged goods, non-profits and logistics. Ms. Henriksen studied Business Administration in Canada, majoring in Marketing and Public Relations.
  • Anthony Green has been appointed Vice President, National Sales where he will be responsible for overseeing Kitchen United’s sales and customer success teams, placing and supporting an optimal mix of restaurant partners in every Kitchen United facility. Mr. Green possesses over 17 years of experience as a sales and business development executive at companies around the world including senior positions at Snaps, Kik Interactive, Brand Networks and Concep. Throughout his career, he has helped technology startups and early stage companies win new business, grow revenue and develop strategic partnerships that contributed to their long term success. Mr. Green graduated with a degree in Business, Marketing from Queensland University of Technology.
  • Janey Chu has been named Vice President of Human Resources, where she will implement processes and systems that support the employment lifecycle at Kitchen United, allowing the company to scale dramatically and efficiently.   With nearly 20 years in human resources, Ms. Chu has extensive experience working with various large and small organizations to help restructure, build and scale their teams. Prior to Kitchen United, Ms. Chu served as Director, People Partners and Operations at OpenX, and previously held senior HR positions at several tech companies including Broadcom, Acer, Gateway and eMachines Computers. She has also served in various HR roles in the entertainment industry at Miramax Films and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Ms. Chu received a degree in Law and Society from the University of California Santa Barbara.
