Former Seton Hill All-American Zach Rusch will continue his lacrosse career beyond college.

Rusch was selected in the Major League Lacrosse Supplemental Draft by the Dallas Rattlers, making him the fourth former Griffins lacrosse player to be drafted by a pro team.

Taken in the seventh round, Rusch is a midfielder who scored 31 goals and handed out 18 assists for Seton Hill as a senior in 2017. He is from Bethel Park.

Rusch made the All-USILA Division II First Team and played in the association’s all-star game.

He finished his college career with 90 goals and 52 assists.

Other Seton Hill alums to join the pro ranks are Matt Delmonico, Jimmy Delaney and Joel Zalesky.

Delmonico (2014) and Delaney (2013) were drafted into the NLL by Vancouver and Philadelphia, respectively, while Zalesky was a MLL supplemental draft pick in 2010.
