Longmont Police Notes: Domestic Violence Leads to Arrest

Longmont officers were dispatched about 11 p.m. Thursday to the 2200 block of Sherman Street on a report of a domestic disturbance. One man was identified, arrested and taken to jail for assault against a woman.

At about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Longmont police arrested a man in the 200 block of East 2nd Avenue on two active warrants. The man was taken to the Boulder County Jail and held on a total bond of $8,000.

Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded about 9 p.m. Tuesday to the 1600 block of Main Street on a theft. The case remains open.

Longmont police responded Sept. 29 to the 2500 block of Main Street reference a shoplift. A woman and a juvenile female attempted to steal items from a store. The case was cleared by arrest.

Longmont police were called to a motor vehicle crash Thursday in the 1400 block of Main Street. The at-fault male driver was arrested on several charges.

Officers responded Thursday to the 1700 block of Antero Drive on the report of a disturbance. A woman claimed that a man assaulted her. The man was no longer on scene. The woman became uncooperative, and the case is cleared, due to no victim cooperation.
