Vehicle strikes rocks

State police investigated a one-vehicle accident in Shade Township Sunday. Police said John McCombie, 36, of Johnstown, was traveling north on Dark Shade Drive when his vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck several large rocks. The vehicle came to rest on top of a cement culvert. Neither McCombie nor his passenger, Jamie Courter, 39, of Johnstown, was injured.

No injuries reported

State police were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on Lincoln Highway in Quemahoning Township Monday. Police said Chuyuan Zheng, 24, of Pittsburgh, was not injured when his vehicle was hit with ice from another vehicle. Zheng lost control and struck an embankment.

Criminal mischief

Someone broke a window at Pauline Sterner’s Jackson Street home in Garrett Borough and left the scene between 3 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday. State police are investigating.
