Lackawanna County Sentencings 1/7/2019
President Judge Michael Barrasse sentenced the following defendants recently in Lackawanna County Court:
Brian Mercado, 29, 447 Hill St., Jessup, to 78 to 160 months in state prison, followed by five years’ probation, for aggravated indecent assault of a child.
Jeffrey Moran, 37, 712 Harrison Ave., floor three, Scranton, to one year of probation for open lewdness.
Kathyrine Albaran, 32, 1313 Price St., Scranton, to one year of probation for harassment.
Jason Rao, 44, 10211 S. Indian River Drive, Fort Pierce, Florida, to five days to six months in county prison and a $1,000 fine for DUI — tier three, first offense.
Judge Vito Geruolo sentenced:
Walter Jeffrey, 45, 7 Brook Lane, Spring Brook Twp., to two years’ court supervision, including 90 days’ house arrest, for possession with intent to deliver.
Michael Salax, 32, 830 Monroe Ave., Scranton, to 20 to 72 months in state prison, followed by three years’ probation, for robbery and theft by unlawful taking.
Charles Poalillo, 59, Cranberry Creek Road, P.O. Box 189, Analomink, to a $25 fine for careless driving.
Judge Andy Jarbola sentenced:
John Grayeski, 71, 1214 Reynolds Ave., Taylor, to six months’ probation for harassment.
Judge Margaret Bisignani Moyle sentenced:
Kelli Orbin, 25, 20 S. Main St., Carbondale, to a $100 fine for disorderly conduct.
Wayne Patterson, 49, 519 Genet St., Scranton, to 11½ to 23 months in county prison, followed by 90 days’ probation, and a $1,380 fine for aggravated assault and public drunkenness.
Kyle Mathis, 26, 13 Thornhill Lane, Willow Street, to 11 to 23½ months in county prison, followed by three years’ probation, for simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and making terroristic threats.
Nathan Frisbie, 28, 1 Battle Ave., Carbondale, to two to 12 months in county prison for recklessly endangering another person.
Sean Farley, 26, 29 Railroad St., Apt. A, Fell Twp., to five to 11½ months in county prison for simple assault.
Austin Palfreyman, 19, to two days’ time served in county prison for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
