Shots Fired on an Israeli Bus
JERUSALEM (AP) _ Shots were fired Tuesday at an Israeli bus carrying civilians about a mile from the Israeli-Lebanese border, police said.
The army said the bus was hit by gunfire and grenades and that at least three people were wounded. The attack took place near the small Israeli town of Shlomi.
Radio reports said the shots were fired from a passing car and that security forces continued to exchange fire with the assailant. The army has set up road blocks.
Ofer Snir, an ambulance service spokesman, told Israeli Radio that two wounded were being treated, one seriously injured and one lightly.
