Interstate 70 reopens after 3-vehicle crash in South Huntingdon

Eastbound Interstate 70 in South Huntingdon has reopened after a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning.

According to Westmoreland County emergency dispatch, the crash happened just before 8 a.m. in the area of mile marker 50.

The eastbound lanes were initially blocked. Emergency responders later said the eastbound lanes would be closed.

They reopened and crews were leaving the scene shortly before 9:30 a.m.

There was a report of at least one injury, and one person trapped in wreckage.
