Stratton Players Seek Readers for Script Work

March 1, 2019

FITCHBURG -- Stratton Players, the region’s oldest continuously operating community theater seeks avid readers to help review scripts.

“Do you enjoy being part of a book club? We can use you to read scripts to evaluate for possible production on upcoming seasons,” explains longtime member and Board member Sally Cragin.

“We are looking to hear from ‘the audience,’ folks who will have a different, and needed perspective on plays. Our Script Review Group will meet on 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Fitchburg Public Library. We’ll start reading scripts together, and then meet again in three weeks to see what we liked. No theater experience required (on or off the boards), but a love of language and narrative essential.”

(If you do not have a CW Mars Library Card, please arrive a little early to get one so you can take out books). Email sallycragin@verizon.net to RSVP or for more information. Fitchburg Public Library 610 Main St.
