Aiken equestrian rides Kenwood to victory in $25,000 Aiken Charity Grand Prix at Bruce’s Field
Local fans of equestrian sports had something to cheer about Saturday at Bruce’s Field when Daniel Geitner of Aiken won the $25,000 Aiken Charity Grand Prix.
He rode the Kenwood Syndicate’s Kenwood to victory during Aiken Charity Horse Show II.
The show will wrap up its five-day run today. Competition is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
On May 4, Geitner and November Hill Farm’s Vesta De Lavardin captured the $25,000 Aiken Premier Grand Prix during Aiken Charity Horse Show I at Bruce’s Field.
Geitner and his wife, Cathy, own DFG Stables at 1224 Sizemore Road.
The Aiken Horse Park Foundation’s Bruce’s Field is at 931 Powderhouse Road.
