Dr. Malayil co-authors two papers in journal
Dr. Rudy M. Malayil, of St. Mary’s Pain Relief Specialists, has co-authored two papers that have been accepted by the Pain Medicine journal and by the International Neuromod-ulation Society for its biennial meeting.
The two papers are entitled “Burst Spinal Cord Stimulation: A Systematic Review and Pooled Analysis of Real-World Evidence and Outcomes Data” and “Unique Characteristics of the Dorsal Root Ganglion as a Target for Neuromodulation.” They will be published in an upcoming issue of Pain Medicine, as well as online at www.painmedjournal.org.
A pain relief specialist at St. Mary’s, Malayil completed his medical education at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India. He then went on to do his internship in general surgery at Cornell Medical Center in New York City, his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York University in New York City and his fellowship in pain medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
