No. 21 Texas A&M 62, Wisconsin-Green Bay 47
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) _ Lisa Branch scored 22 points as No. 21 Texas A&M overcame a rusty shooting performance to beat Wisconsin-Green Bay 62-47 Saturday night.
The Lady Aggies (8-3) shot 38.1 percent en route to their lowest scoring total of the season as a crowd of 1,581 watched both teams miss far more often that make their shots.
The Phoenix (3-6) shot 34.5 percent and became A&M’s lowest-scoring opponent this season.
Lana Tucker had 15 points for the Lady Aggies and Marianne Miller-Sevin added 11 while racking up a school-record five blocked shots.
Liz Reiman led Wisconsin-Green Bay with 12 points and Shelly Beaber came off the bench to add 11. Beaber and Chari Nordgaard had nine rebounds each.
