Multiple motorcycles involved in Wayne crash

BUTLER, W.Va. — Multiple injuries were reported in a motor vehicle crash involving one car and four motorcycles that occurred around 7:15 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. 52 and Sharps Branch Road in Butler, according to Wayne County 911 dispatchers.

Dispatchers said known injuries included one leg fracture and one person losing consciousness. Details about possible additional injuries were not available at press time Saturday.

Crews with Cabell County EMS, West Virginia State Police, Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, Ceredo Volunteer Fire Department and Kenova Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
