GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — The Scottish Football Association is looking into allegations that Celtic winger Aleksandar Tonev racially abused an Aberdeen player during a league match.

SFA President Campbell Ogilvie says Monday that his organization has received a complaint as part of a referee's report from the Scottish Premiership match at Parkhead on Saturday.

Aberdeen defender Shay Logan, who is black, complained to the referee during the game that Tonev had made a racist remark toward him.

The 24-year-old Tonev, who plays for Bulgaria, was making his Celtic debut after joining on a one-year loan deal with Aston Villa.
