Durham announces date for start of early voting for November general election

Voters in Durham will be able to cast their ballots early for the upcoming November general election, starting next month.

The county’s election office said in a written statement Wednesday that early voting would begin on Oct. 17 and will be held at six early voting sites around the county. Those sites include:

Early Voting hours are 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturdays, except for Saturday, November 3rd (8 a.m. until 1 p.m.); and Sundays from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Locations are open on the weekends during the early voting period. Weekend hours will be limited during the Early Voting period.
