Search warrant results in drug-related arrests
WOODLAND PARK — Just after midnight on Thursday morning, the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 309 Sherwood Lane in Woodland Park.
Sheriff Mike Unger said two adults and one juvenile were arrested on drug-related charges.
Kentrell Monroe, 27, Woodland Park, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (Ecstasy), possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, Nebraska tax stamp violation, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Marlana Kirk, 30, Omaha, was charged with aiding and abetting possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
A 17-year-old male was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Unger said a large quantity of Ecstasy was recovered from the residence, along with a significant amount of cash, marijuana and other paraphernalia.
On Thursday afternoon, Unger released additional information in connection to the search warrant served earlier in Woodland Park. A 16-year-old Fort Dodge, Iowa, male was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (Ecstasy) with intent to deliver and no Nebraska drug tax stamp. He was also arrested on a Webster County, Iowa, arrest warrant for absconding parole and had been on the run since last August after escaping from a facility in Waterloo, Iowa.
The teen is currently being held in the Juvenile Detention Center in Madison.
