STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Julie Lake had 19 points and nine assists and Texas Tech’s defense dominated most of the game as the No. 5 Lady Raiders beat Oklahoma State 64-51 Wednesday night.
Texas Tech (14-3, 7-1 Big 12) also got 12 points and 10 rebounds from center Angie Braziel and 11 points from Rene Hanebutt.
The Lady Raiders held Oklahoma State scoreless for the final six minutes of the first half and led 31-13 at halftime.
Texas Tech led by as many as 23 with nine minutes to go, but Oklahoma State got as close as 57-48 in the final 90 seconds.
The Cowgirls (11-6, 4-3) were led by Sarah Boyd’s 14 points, but they all came in the final eight minutes. Devon Magness had 12 points and Jennifer Crow 10.
