Two-car crash kills 4 in Florida beach town
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP) — A fiery car crash has killed four people in a small beach town in Florida.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Saturday that the driver was a man and his three passengers were all female. Their names and ages were not released.
Authorities say a sedan was speeding along a scenic road off a beach in Port St. Lucie late Friday when it struck the back part of a truck that was making a right turn. The truck overturned and the sedan spun across the center of the road. Both vehicles caught on fire.
The driver and three passengers of the sedan all died, while the truck driver was a 26-year-old woman who survived with minor injuries.
