TMZ: Zion’s blown out shoe missing

April 1, 2019

There’s a new mystery surrounding the shoe of Duke basketball superstar Zion Williamson.

The shoe, which exploded from his foot on Feb. 20 as the Blue Devils took on the Tar Heels, injuring his knee and putting him on the bench for five games, is missing, according to TMZ.

During the NCAA Tournament, TMZ asked the player, a representative of Duke’s athletic department and even Nike. No one seems to know where the damaged shoe is.

And that’s money lost. To a collector, TMZ’s report says, it could be worth up to $250,000.
