Norfolk Catholic wins fourth game in a row; gets ready for ranked Hartington CC

The Lincoln Journal Star top ranked and Omaha World Herald second ranked in Class ‘C-2’ Norfolk Catholic football team is 4-1 on the year after routing Crofton at home last Friday night 49-9.

The Knights got 234 rushing yards off 18 carries and four touchdowns by Dylan Kautz as the team had 362 rushing yards. Quarterback Cayden Cunningham threw two touchdowns as well. Norfolk Catholic, who has beaten David City Aquinas, St. Paul, BRLD, Crofton while falling to Pierce is outscoring their opponents on average through four games 41.4-19.6. They return to action on Friday night when they visit 2-3 Lincoln Journal Star ninth ranked in Class ‘C-2’ Hartington Cedar Catholic at 7:00 in a game that can be heard on 106 KIX. The Trojans upset previously ranked Ponca 17-14 in overtime last Friday night. Knights coach Jeff Bellar talked about their upcoming foe on Sportstalk on 106 KIX last Saturday.
