New School of Pharmacy on track to open in August
Construction on the new Marshall University School of Pharmacy building at Hal Greer Boulevard and Charleston Avenue is on track for an August 2019 opening.
Construction on the $56 million project began in June 2018. The Marshall University Board of Governors voted last month to name the building after Marshall’s late president, Stephen J. Kopp, whose dedication and commitment were foundational to the school’s birth. Under his leadership, more than $300 million was invested in new buildings and building renovation. Stephen J. Kopp Hall will be formally dedicated later this summer.
