Aggravated robbery suspects apprehended

Thanks to a Crimes Stoppers tip, and the work of Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office investigators and the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, two suspects in a recent aggravated robbery have been apprehended without incident.

“What a terrific team effort between the community and law enforcement,” said Sheriff Troy Nehls. “This is why calling in a tip is so important, and that person made some honest money!”

The alleged aggravated robbery took place at the Cricket Wireless store located at the 9400 block of Highway 6 South, Houston, Fort Bend County on Saturday, Aug. 11, around 7:30 p.m. The two suspects entered the business, threatened employees with a handgun and stole currency and cell phones.

The arrested suspects include:

Andrew Alexander Anderson, 34. He was charged with aggravated robbery and has a $100,000 bond.

Jeremiah Javon Bryant, 34. He was charged with aggravated robbery and has a $50,000 bond.

This is an ongoing investigation.
