LOS ANGELES (AP) _ First daughter Jenna Bush has snagged a job at the entertainment firm that produced ``The Sopranos″ and ``Just Shoot Me.″
Bush, 19, is working as a summer intern for Brillstein-Grey while on break from the University of Texas, according to numerous reports. A company memo asked employees to keep quiet about the new hire, but someone leaked the news to a Web site.
Noelia Rodriguez, spokeswoman for first lady Laura Bush, maintained the couple’s general silence on their daughters Wednesday, saying only about Jenna: ``She is in Los Angeles, but that’s all we will say.″
A Brillstein-Grey spokeswoman did not immediately return phone calls. A receptionist for the firm told the Los Angeles Times that it does not provide information on its interns.
Jenna Bush made headlines when she was fined and lost her driver’s license in Texas for drinking underage and trying to use someone else’s identification to buy liquor. She tried to use someone else’s ID to buy alcohol at a popular Mexican restaurant May 29, two weeks after pleading no contest to underage drinking charges from another incident.
