Animal Planet’s Dr. Jeff Young Named Keynote Speaker for the 2018 Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference®

CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul 11, 2018--American Veterinarian ®, a premier multimedia provider of cutting-edge veterinary news, research and conference coverage, is proud to announce Animal Planet’s Dr. Jeff Young as the keynote speaker for the 2018 Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference® (ACVC), which will take place on Oct. 8-11.

In 1990, Dr. Young established Planned Pethood Plus Inc., which is best known for its low-cost mobile neutering services, work on Native American reservations and training of veterinarians from around the world in more efficient surgical techniques. He also founded the nonprofit group Planned Pethood International, which aims to reduce animal overpopulation throughout the world. Throughout his career, Dr. Young has served on or consulted with numerous Humane Society Boards both nationally and internationally.

Young’s keynote presentation will take place on October 8 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The conference is a multiday educational event that offers over 200 hours of RACE-approved veterinary continuing education. In addition to content for veterinarians, the conference will offer custom educational tracks geared specifically toward technicians, practice managers and front office staff. Attendees will also have access to over 200 exhibitors and many opportunities to network and collaborate with their peers.
