Gray Television: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
ATLANTA (AP) _ Gray Television Inc. (GTN) on Tuesday reported second-quarter profit of $40.7 million.
The Atlanta-based company said it had profit of 46 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 41 cents per share.
The broadcast television company posted revenue of $250.3 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $252.1 million.
Gray Television shares have decreased 11 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 10 percent in the last 12 months.
