Western Mass. courts to relocate during renovation
GREENFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Courts currently operating in the Franklin County Courthouse will relocate to an interim location in Greenfield during a major construction and renovation project planned for the courthouse.
Beginning Feb. 18, court operations will be held at the Greenfield Corporate Center. The courts relocating there are: Franklin County Superior Court, Franklin County Probate and Family Court, and Greenfield District Court.
The Franklin/Hampshire Juvenile Court will remain at its current location until the renovation is complete. The Western Housing Court is expected to relocate its weekly Greenfield session to the interim location in late March or early April.
The interim location has four courtrooms, two jury deliberation rooms and seven holding cells.
