TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ Martin Rucinsky scored on a penalty shot and Patrice Brisbois had his second consecutive game-winning goal as the Montreal Canadiens beat Tampa Bay 6-2 on Thursday night.
Montreal is 3-0-1-1 in its last five road games, while Tampa Bay has lost four straight at home following a 6-0-0-1 run at the Ice Palace.
Brisbois gave Montreal a 3-2 lead with a power-play goal with 1:59 left in the second period. Oleg Petrov added two goals in the third period and Chad Kilger also scored.
Brisbois, who came in with the worst plus-minus rating in the NHL at minus-29, has six goals in eight games against Tampa Bay since last season.
Lightning forward Ben Clymer had the only goal of the first period, scoring on a power play at 11:17. Rucinsky tied it with his fourth goal in as many games, beating Kevin Weekes on a penalty shot at 4:11 of the second. Rucinsky also had two assists.
Nils Ekman restored the Lightning lead at the 10:57 mark, but Richard Zednik tied it again just under two minutes later.
