Woman Hurt When Car Hits Westford Building

September 22, 2018

WESTFORD -- A Worcester woman sustained minor injuries after crashing her vehicle into a building in Westford early Saturday morning, according to police.

The 33-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Corolla on Boston Road when she went off the road. The driver crashed through the front of the former Drew Farm property, located at 66 Boston Road, according to Sgt. Marc Proia. Police responded to the scene around 1 a.m.

“The building inspector came out and deemed the property to be structurally safe, but it was vacant at the time,” Proia said.

The driver was transported to the hospital for what did not seem to be serious injuries, Proia said.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
