Friday night fire damages Hartsville area home
HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- Firefighters from six stations and two agencies Friday night battled a house fire on High Point Road.
Darlington County firefighters responded at 9:30 p.m. to a report of a large residential structure fire and arrived to find fire showing from the home and endangering two neighboring structures, according to a release from the agency.
Crews were able to prevent the fire from damaging the neighboring structures and eventually able to control the blaze, according to the release.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Hartsville firefighters responded in mutual aid to the fire as did medics with Darlington County EMS and the Darlington County Rescue Squad. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
