UPDATE: Norfolkan in custody

STANTON — Thanks to public assistance, Seth J. Bossard, 37, Norfolk, was taken into custody in Norfolk by the Norfolk Police Division.

Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger issued a release Friday afternoon that Bossard will have a sentencing on Monday, Feb. 4, for his felony assault conviction. The sheriff’s office appreciated the public’s assistance and tips on his location, Unger said.

Stanton County Sheriff’s office looking for wanted felon

STANTON — The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in locating a wanted felon who could be considered dangerous.

The sheriff’s office is seeking Seth Bossard, 37, Norfolk, on a felony arrest warrant after he failed to appear for sentencing on a felony assault charge earlier this week in Stanton County District Court.

Bossard is a white male, 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds and was last known to be in the Norfolk area. Bossard was arrested last spring by the sheriff’s office after assaulting a woman who was hospitalized for her injuries.

Anyone with knowledge of Bossard or his location is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 402-439-2212 or your local law enforcement agency.
