WV Motorcycle Club, Salvation Army Distribute New Bicycles

The Wyoming Valley Motorcycle Club distributed bicycles at a party Saturday for children at the Salvation Army Citadel in Wilkes-Barre. For the seventh year, the Wyoming Valley Motorcycle Club is partnered with the Salvation Army of Wilkes-Barre, which identified the children scheduled to receive the bikes. The funds to purchase the bicycles were raised at the club’s annual ‘Bikes 4 Tykes’ Motorcycle Ride, which was held in August. In total, 52 bicycles and helmets were distributed Saturday. ‘This is a day our club members look forward to,’ said Jim Biscotto, Wyoming Valley Motorcycle Club vice president. ‘It’s amazing to see the joy on the faces of the children that come to the party and receive their bike from Santa. It brings the holidays to life for us.’ Right: Carlos Agueda Jr. gets some help on his bicycle from his father, Carlos Agueda Sr. as he gets his picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
