1 dead, 2 hurt after shots at Mississippi graduation party
PORT GIBSON, Miss. (AP) — A shooting at a graduation party in Mississippi has left one man dead and two others injured.
WLBT-TV reports Port Gibson Police Chief Calvin Jackson says officials responded to a shooting around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at the Claiborne County Convention Center.
Police found Arsenio Johnson dead upon arriving at the scene. Robert Thomas Jr. was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and transported to an area hospital.
Amari Johnson, a minor, was also injured in the shooting.
Jackson says the investigation is ongoing and that there is no known motive into what led to the shooting.
