Most voters want Robert Mueller to testify before Congress; Republicans nearly split: Poll

Andrew Blake The Washington TimesMay 15, 2019

Most voters want special counsel Robert Mueller to testify in front of Congress about the investigation he led into Russian interference in the 2016 elections, new polling revealed Wednesday.

Conducted over the weekend among 1,995 registered voters, the Morning Consult/Politico survey asked whether Mr. Mueller should answer questions on Capitol Hill about his recently completed investigation into Russian election meddling and related matters.

More than half of all respondents 56% said they think that Mr. Mueller should testify, while around one-fifth of people polled 19% said he should not, pollsters reported.
