ATHENS, Ohio (AP) _ Katie Douglas and Stephanie White-McCarty each scored 17 points and No. 3 Purdue used an 18-4 run to take control in a 92-52 victory over winless Ohio University on Saturday.

Ukari Figgs added 16 points and Kelly Komara had 12 for the Boilermakers (6-1).

The only lead for Ohio (0-6) came on Lisa Hindenlag’s jumper with 13:37 left in the opening half, putting the Bobcats ahead 14-13.

But Purdue rebounded with an 8-0 run as Douglas, White-McCarty and Komara each scored two points.

The Boilermakers led 38-28 with 1:55 left in the first half, then scored eight of the next 10 points to take a 46-30 halftime lead. Douglas then scored four of the points in a 10-2 run to start the second half as the lead reached 56-32.

Purdue’s biggest lead was 86-42.

The Boilermakers shot 53 percent from the field (31-of-58) to Ohio’s 27 percent (19-of-71) and dominated the rebounding 58-32.

Amber Bunce had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Bobcats, while Danielle Longnecker also scored 12 points.

Ohio was 1-for-11 from 3-point range.
