Baby born at 12:14 a.m. first of year at Lutheran city facility

A 7-pound, 6-ounce boy was born at 12:14 a.m. today at a Lutheran Health Network facility in Fort Wayne, becoming the first born at one of its city facilities this year, the hospital network has announced.

Baby Ezekiel, the son of Matt and Ashley, was 20 1/2 inches long, and he and his mother are doing well, the network said in a statement.

The full names and hometown of family members, and the exact hospital at which Ezekiel was born, were not disclosed.
