League City reelects a mayor, councilmembers
Voters in League City re-elected the mayor on Tuesday but will be headed back to the polls in December to decide a runoff for City Council Position 6.
In the Council Position 6 race, Chad Tessler earned 46 percent of the vote and will face Chris Gross in the Dec. 18 runoff. Gross garnered 27 percent of the vote. Silvio P. Vincenzo finished third with 26 percent.
Incumbent Mayor Pat Hallisey defeated challenger Sebastian Lofaro with 68 percent of the vote to serve a second term as League City mayor.
Andy Mann won the Position 1 seat over Traci Jacobs.
Nick Long defeated Ange Mertens in the Position 7 contest.
