Sec of State John Kerry traveling to Europe next week
WASHINGTON (AP) — Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Europe next week, making stops in Paris for a global climate change summit and Brussels for a meeting of NATO foreign ministers.
The State Department says Kerry will travel next Monday to Paris to join President Barack Obama as world leaders gather for the United Nations climate change talks.
Kerry then goes Tuesday to the Belgian capital, Brussels — currently in lockdown because of fears of a terrorist attack.
He will travel on to Kosovo to discuss bilateral and regional issues, and to Serbia for a meeting of ministers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
He will then continue to Nicosia, Cyprus, and Greece for discussions with the Greek government on refugees and progress on economic reforms.
