Tim Currie’s Motown Review Band kicks off Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens’ Summer Concert Series

The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens kicks off its Summer Concert Series with Tim Currie’s Motown Review Band Sunday, June 23, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Currie, a lifelong Norwalk resident who created his own record label, Hey Records in 2004, started a Motown band in 2013 called Tim Currie’s Motown Review Band. The band brings listeners back to the Motor City in the late 1960s. Currie is the drummer in the group, which consists of 13 members.

The concert will take place on the Great Lawn, shine only. Bring chairs or a blanket and a picnic dinner. Tickets are $10 for non-members, $5 for members and free for children 12 and younger. Tickets are bought the day of the event at the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens. Cash, check or cards accepted.
