FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota State men’s basketball team will be a No. 16 seed in the East Region for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, playing a First Four game against North Carolina Central on Wednesday.
The winner of that game that tips off at 6:40 p.m. Central time in Dayton, Ohio, will face a tough task on Friday — playing overall No. 1 seed Duke in Columbia, South Carolina.
NDSU is making its fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in 11 years, and its third trip to the Big Dance in the past six seasons.
The Final Four is in Minneapolis this year.
