Creativebug database available to Marshall Public Library patrons

POCATELLO - Residents who would like to get in touch with their crafty side can now get a little help thanks to the Marshall Public Library.

Recently, the library subscribed to the Creativebug database. The repository has over 1,000 art and craft video classes taught by experts and artists. From sewing and knitting patterns to painting and more, the database lets novice and expert crafters try their hand at new projects.

“Beyond just the videos, Creativebug features patterns and templates to help you work through your craft,” said Amy Campbell, Public Services Supervisor with the Marshall Public Library. “If there’s a certain style you’re trying to perfect, the database has prompts that will help you hone your skills.”

The database can be accessed by going to creativebug.com/lib/marshallpl and inputting your Marshall Public Library card number.

If you do not have a Marshall Public Library card, you can get one by visiting the library and presenting a valid photo ID and proof of Pocatello residency such as a utility bill or lease agreement.
