STRONG Digital Media Names Ian Greenberg President

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 9, 2019--STRONG Digital Media, a Ballantyne Strong, Inc. (NYSE American: BTN) company, today announced that Ian Greenberg has been appointed President, effective immediately. Mr. Greenberg is charged with growing STRONG’s taxi media business, and building adjacent media businesses, starting with experiential marketing.

Mr. Greenberg has extensive leadership experience in out-of-home advertising, working with many of the top advertisers in the industry. He comes to STRONG Digital Media from Vector Media, where he built their highly successful experiential marketing division. Previously, Ian was co-founder and General Manager of Show Media, which reimagined the taxi advertising space with the introduction of large format tops and experiential marketing. Show Media was recognized by Inc. Magazine several years in a row as one of the fastest growing privately owned companies in the US. Under Mr. Greenberg’s sales leadership, Verifone bought Show Media’s taxi media assets in 2011 for a purchase price of over $28 million.
