Woman Faces Fitchburg Drug-traffic Charges
FITCHBURG -- A Winchendon woman faces drug-trafficking, distribution, and possession charges after police found the substances in a sock concealed in her pants and in a purse on Tuesday, according to court records.
Bonnie Pratt, 38, of 66 Spring St., was charged with trafficking between 18 and 36 grams of cocaine, distribution of Class A drugs, and possession of Class B and E drugs -- Suboxone strips and Adderall, court records say.
Police were at a CVS on Main Street investigating a shoplifting incident when they found Pratt in possession of the drugs, according to court documents.
Inside the sock Pratt allegedly hid, police found baggies of about 22 grams of cocaine and about 6 grams of heroin, court records say. There were also two Suboxone and Aderall pills found in the baggies and Suboxone strips recovered from her purse.
At her Wednesday arraignment, a judge set her bail at $500 cash or $5,000 surety.
Her bail for an open larceny case out of Framingham District Court was also revoked.
Pratt’s next court date is a pre-trial hearing scheduled for March 12.
