Gusty winds causing power outages
Gusty winds taking down trees and branches are causing power outages across Connecticut.
At 7 a.m., Eversource reported 512 customers without power including 197 in Litchfield, 81 in New Milford, 80 in New Canaan, 43 in Old Saybrook and 13 in Weston.

United Illuminating reported 82 customers in Fairfield and five in Easton have lost power.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for for the Connecticut shoreline until noon Friday.
It says winds could gust as high as 45 mph.
Just before 7 a.m., Danbury airport has a 35 mph gust; Oxford airport had 29 mph gust; Sikorsky Memorial Airport and Tweed-New Haven Airport had a 26 mph wind gust; White Plains airport, near Greenwich, has a 25 mph gust;
