Guard Carl Krauser Misses Game for Pitt
PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Pittsburgh guard Carl Krauser, the leading scorer for the 16th-ranked Panthers, did not play in Saturday night’s game against New Hampshire because of a groin injury.
It was not immediately known when Krauser was injured. A school spokesman said coach Jamie Dixon would address Krauser’s situation after the game. Krauser watched the game from the bench in a warm-up suit.
Krauser, selected MVP of last week’s Holiday Hoops Tournament, is averaging 15.6 points and has either led or tied for the scoring lead in eight of Pitt’s first 11 games this season. He also leads Pitt in assists and is tied for the team lead in steals.
Krauser was replaced in the lineup by freshman Antonio Graves, who made his first start.
