Export officials have announced street closures and parking logistics for the borough’s upcoming Ethnic Food & Music Festival on Aug. 18.

Beginning at 5 p.m. on Aug. 17, no parking will be permitted along Washington Avenue between the Export Volunteer Fire Department and the Export Moose.

Beginning at 6 a.m. on Aug. 18, no parking will be permitted in the borough parking lot off Washington Avenue.

The parking lot at St. Mary Our Lady of Lourdes Church will be open for parking. The cost is a $3 donation, which will be split between the Export Historical Society and the Westmoreland Heritage Trail. Trail volunteers will man the lot. Additional downtown parking closer to the festival is also available for a $5 donation.

The regular 6 p.m. Saturday service at St. Mary’s will be shifted to St. John Baptist de la Salle, 497 Athena Drive in Delmont.
