HELENA, Mont. — Wildlife advocates and Native American tribes will urge a federal judge on Thursday to reinstate federal protections on grizzly bears living around Yellowstone National Park and block hunting seasons in Wyoming and Idaho that are scheduled to open on Saturday.



DENVER — Colorado regulators approved Xcel Energy's ambitious plan to nearly double the share of electricity it generates from renewable sources despite some doubts about the company's claims for how much money consumers will save. OGDEN, Utah — A high-ranking U.S. Interior Department official on Thursday reiterated the agency's strong interest in moving its Bureau of Land Management headquarters to the American West.
