Orchids and Onions: Tuesday, October 9, 2018
Another beautiful day in Havasu...
Orchids to Zeke of A-Z Landscaping for assigning Luis and Orasio to our home. They care for our property as if it was theirs. They keep the trees and bushes trimmed so well. Thanks, guys.
Onions to owners of little dogs who don’t pick up after their dogs. You make the rest of the dog owners look bad. Remember, little dog poop is still dog poop.
Orchids to Food City Pharmacy for correcting a doctor’s over-order on medications. Carol and staff saved me $77. A real lifesaver well done. L. Kim
Orchids to the purple lights on the bridge. Crossing the bridge this morning, the moon was a crescent, sky was awesome, and Fall Out Boys monsters theme song on the radio. Awesome.
Orchids to Justin and crew of pool biz for a great job on our pool. You fixed my equipment; my pool has never looked so good. You showed up when you said you would.
Onions to those who can only do one thing at a time. It seems odd some cannot serve more than one person at a time. Slow and inefficient makes for an empty business. It is costly, unprofessional and just plain silly.
Orchids to Joe of Havasu Lock and Key. Came out same day I phoned and was quick and efficient.
Onions to shearing the open road in a school bus. The yellow bus will always be a school bus. You can put lipstick on a pig but it will always be a pig. Can you get RV plates for a bus?
Onions to the person expecting doctors to make home visits. There are 54,411 people living in Lake Havasu City. Not enough doctors for taking care of people in home. Try Hospice.
Onions to single parents who choose partners that are emotionally abusive to their children. No child should have to grow up hearing what a horrible person they are before they even become that person.
Orchids to Dr. Tomas, the very best dentist ever. I’m a well-seasoned adult who has had a fear of dentists since age 11 because of extremely poor treatment and a very good memory. My pearly whites proudly announce that Dr. Tomas, Becky and Trish are proficient and excellent.
