Diaper drive yields nearly 3,500 for Lily’s Place
HUNTINGTON — Huntington Junior League President Carly Hackman announced Thursday, Dec. 20, that 3,489 diapers have been donated to Lily’s Place, through the Junior League’s Diaper Drive.
“There is such a need for diapers, so we chose Lily’s Place because it helps our infants with prenatal drug exposure,” Hackman said. “We wanted to do our part to help these infants, show them that we care about them and support for this nationally-recognized program.”
Junior League is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
“During this season of giving, we are so thankful to the Junior League of Huntington for this generous donation,” Olivia Meade, Director of Development for Lily’s Place said. “This donation will directly support our mission of caring for infants with prenatal drug exposure. We are blessed to receive such support from our community.”
