The company’s Internet of Things (IoT) sensor, SmartRock™, was the world’s first, wire-free, concrete sensor, which measures concrete temperature and strength in real-time.

“ Giatec is now a serious contender on the world stage for construction technology solutions, ” says Ron Tomlinson, CEO of Tomlinson Group and SmartConcrete™ partner. “ At Tomlinson we are committed to building communities that are based on innovative, smart and sustainable infrastructure, and Giatec is helping us achieve that goal.”

Giatec recently received a combined $3.2M of investment from the Canadian Government, to further study how it’s technology can reduce the amount of CO2 emissions associated with concrete production.
